the easiest way from Disneyland is to take
OCTA 43 to the Fullerton Amtrak/metrolink station
then take the Metrolink train to Los Angeles,
then hold on your metrolink ticket its valid for both the Red Line
subway train which you then take to North Hollywood,
then cross the street and board the Orange Line to Warner center
the only cost for you would be the OCTA bus (which I think
is $1.25) and metrolink train (about $7.00)
I would allow at least 2 to 3 hours for the trip

You can take the Orange County Metrolink train from Anaheim. The station is only about 3 miles away from Disneyland. Take that to Union Station in L.A. Then get on the Red Line subway to the North Hollywood Station. Get off at North Hollywood and get on the Orange Line (a bus). Take this to the last stop which is Warner Center in Woodland Hills. LA Red and Orange line tickets are $1.25 each. Metrolink is $7.00 weekdays, $3.50 weekend. I hope that helps. SoCal is developing more and more public transportation options and they are often faster, and definitely less frustrating, than taking a car.

If you are staying at a Warner Center hotel, check with the concierge. The hotel may provide transportation to Disneyland. Have fun!

You can do it by bus but it would take forever and you would have to change buses about a half dozen times. You can't do it by train without taking at least two expensive cab rides.

LA is a car town by design and choice. You need to rent a car.

neither is very convenient. can you rent a car or even a limo? if not, can you at least spend the night in anaheim so you don't have to come back at 2 in the morning?
