I think if a person ina car fell from that height while going 1 mph their odds of survival would be very slim if any. Think of it this way, if you hit a wall head on at 30 miles per hour, that's like having a car dropped off of a 4 story building head first. Now think of a car starting from 0 mph falling off a cliff that is 500 feet up......

I'll offer 3:1 on not a chance. Newton's law states that gravity pulls at 9.7meters/second/second which without getting into a lot of math, would mean that the force of impact when multiplying the acceleration of gravity times the distance traveled and again by the velocity of the vehicle originally means that the only way one would get out would be in a hefty bag.
