I am thinking about getting a tattoo either on my lower back or on my wrist. just something small, but i am not sure where would be best place to get it. i don't like needles but i can handle pain, somewhat.

don't know about the back, but i got a little vine heart on my wrist and it was not bad at all

I have a big tattoo on my lower back(one of five) in various areas,I would suggest the lower back for the reason of not being able to look straight at the needle and the wrist hurts the same as the lower back but you would be seeing the needle more wiht that one good luck...

I have one in both places...the lower back is a bigger tattoo and didn't hurt all that much...I have a band of 1 inch or so stars around my wrist and it hurt more than the lower back...the inside of your wrist where it is softer hurts a little bit mor...also, on your wristbone hurts a little bit...but than again, all tattoos hurt somewhat...it just depends on how you handle pain...

If you can handle pain, I'd say get it on your wrist. But on the lower back, you don't have to watch them do the tattoo, since you don't like needles, this way it'd just feel like constant scratching that's really annoying. You'll also have your hands to read a magazine or take a nap when they being their art work.

I just got one on my lower back. Right down my spine about half way up to my tail bone. It hurts in certain places a little worse then others but it isn't to bad. If you want it go for it just have one of your friends go so you can hold there hand you will do fine.

a friend of mine has both a tat on her wrist and lower back, she says the lower back hurt a lil more bc its mostly fatty and muscles down there. and it all depends on your wrist, different people have different pain tolerences, if you get one on your wrist, i would get something small...its cuter.

I have a tattoo on my lower back and it did not hurt at all...I guess it depends on your level of pain tolerance though
