My son's odor smell's worse than a basketball player on a cold winter's day sitting on the bench! I wipe under there really good everytime he gets a bath, but he smell's pretty bad by the end of the day. What can do for this? Do I put anything under his armpits? Do they MAKE child/toddler deodorant?

An adult deodorant has chemicals and fragrances that might cause a rash or irritation. Use some baking soda and/or some medicated powder like Caldescene or Baby Gold Bond several times a day. During the hot time of the year, clean under his arms with a baby wipe as needed in addition to normal bathing.

For heaven's sake, do not use deodorant on a 3 year old! Try using baby powder...Johnson's makes a lavender one that smells terrific! Also, drying really well after the bath is important. This goes for under the neck, underarms, and between fingers and toes! Leaving these places wet is a recipe for smells!

I wouldn't start with the deodorant right now. 3 is a bit young for that. As the mother of 2 boys I can tell you that once they go outside and play and sweat they are going to have what I call 'little boy' smell :) And, yes; we make sure we bathe them REALLY good every single day.

I wouldn't start with the whole deodorant at 3...Try baby powder right now to control the sweat. Deodorants contain certain chemicals you might want to shy away from at this early of an age. I mean deodorant isn't going to kill him but it might cause a chemical rash.

are you drying under his arms reallly good after the bath? I noticed this with my littel one for a shirt time. After the bath dry VERY well and apply baby powder.

You can even put some more in the morning
