Why does god allow billions of people to be deceived for thousands of years? Why didn't he just smite Satan as soon as he left Heaven? Also what day were they angels including Lucifer made? Thanks!

We don't know when satan or his angels were created, but when satan's ego (pride) got too big God cast satan and the angels
who chose to follow him down to earth. So we know they were with God before creation.

God created Adam who was suppose to rule over the earth,
but when Adam sinned, God gave satan the earth to rule over.

The only thing satan wants is souls, he's trying to get as many souls as he can before God destroys him.

People are being deceived because satan is the father of lies.
That's why it's so important to us to have the Spirit of God in
us (who is Jesus) so we will know the TRUTH.
Only Jesus can reveal the Truth.

Lucifer was the angel who fell from Heaven once he began envying God and wanting to be like Him. God allows Satan to exist so that we can each have a choice to do good or evil so He can see who will follow Him. And it also tests our faith when we are tempted by the devil or when the devil tries to destroy us.

1. Lucifer use to G_D's top angel. He got sick of praising G_D so he said "I'm outta here!" and took 1/3rd the angels with him.

2. G_D does destroy him, in time, have patience.

3. 1000 yrs earth time = 1 day G_D time.

4. He did smite him....he cast him out of heaven and sent him to earth.

"Saint" Lucipher was God's right hand man ... The second in command. There was a power struggle and as Lucipher was cast out of heaven he said "it is better to rule in one world than to serve in another" This scenario is not very likely though because if God was that powerful no one in their right mind would challenge him for the kindom of heaven... certainly not a third of the angels

God needs Satan. It's Satan's job to prove to God how unworthy we are to enter Heaven.

God uses satan to determine who loves Him.

in christianity, god sent people here to make a choice. see..before everyone (as in people) came to earth, they were all spirits in heaven. and god wanted them to experience life so that they could have knowledge like him. so then satan said "i will lead the people to earth and i will force them to follow the right path, but you must give me the glory!" and then jesus was like, "i will go and bring people to you, and yours will be the glory forever." so god chose jesus to come down to earth...or for those who believe that jesus and god are the same person, i guess it would be like god just came down to earth in jesus's form. so to answer your question, god cannot destroy satan beacause he wants us to be tested, he wants to see if we love him enough to chose the right path ourselves and go back to him. that is the christian way of it, as far as i know, anyway.
