Since they say that Kicker amps are underrated how much rms wattage does my Kicker Zx750.1 amp actually put out. One birth sheet says 930 watts the other 931. Since it says 750 watts @ 2 ohms, how much actual rms wattage am i actually getting about?

Kicker amps and speakers ROCK, for SPL! Kicker door speakers put out good bass, considering (the size).

75% of all SPL records are won with Kicker products!

'Peak' ratings are of no use in determing output of an amp, or power handling of speakers. On the birth sheet, does it say 930 watts RMS @ 2Ohms, or 'PEAK'? If rms, then the amp actually has a 'peak' rating of (930 x .75 + 930) about 1627.5 watts, but like I said 'peak' or 'max' ratings are really meaningless.
Look for subs in which the total rms rating of all the subs added together equals between 500 and 900 wrms, adjust your gains correctly (they're not volume knobs) and they'll sound good. Use Kicker subs and they'll POUND for 750 wrms.
Good Luck!

750 rms is around 1300 peak. rms means root mean square. basically you take the rms value an multiply it by the square root of 3. Make sure the speakers you run on kicker amps are 10 to 15 percent more in power handling. His amps are probably dead due to misuse. Kicker amps are actually very good. As for how much power it is putting out. The only way to find out is to hook it up to a cro and measure the power output.

kicker puts there stuff right no the money. that 930 watts is the max power, not he rms like the 750 watts. however i must warn you i bought 4 kicker amps a year ago, and 2 of them are now dead. not a big fan of kicker, but i do like how they dont d*ck you around with "peak" wattage.

good luck

mmm does this make them good or bad. as far as i know the amps are pretty good, but i would advise to stay clear of the speakers. eg go loud but sound crap.
