It seems like everyone has made a lot of assumptions about they way someone who uses pot may act. I for one smoke pot occasionally socially and even take one drag/hit. I attend a university and see many people drinking way too much a few time a week. i also see people who smoke too much and are in fact couch potatoes. everything in moderation. Also, i like to clean/organize/research/make art when i'm high. i don't like sitting on the couch and watching a TV when high. a movie with friends can be fun. the best thing is going on an adventure when high. going somewhere like the beach or a nature preserve or going or a bike ride can all be very enjoyable sober or high. i think everyone should make an effort to be less judgmental and refrain from labeling recreational pot users as couch potato pot heads. as for the original question i think its a turn off to abuse any substance. even sugar smoking a lot everyday cant be the healthiest. try cutting back and enjoying sobriety.

I will introduce you to a guy who was an honor student in college with a future as an architect -he started smoking pot and now he is 45 years old with no job or degree..he lived in his mothers basement...smoking pot ALL day and watching cartoons...he is now fat from all of the pizza...his mom threw him out cuz she did not want the bum smoking in the house, eating her food so now he lives sleeping on a floor at a friends shabby trailer home....you two would be a perfect couple...

A pot head is not exactly the type girl a guy takes home to meet the family. A pot head is usually an embarrassment at
non druggie parties. Most guys will figure you are an easy mark. Get you a couple of joints and you'll do anything.

Hell, I'll stick up for the potheads. I myself smoke a lot but Im not a "couch potato" like people stereotype with stoners. When I get high I like to clean the house and stuff because I am tons more motivated, so far me... as long as you arn't a lazy chick that smooches off her man, hey I'd take you.... man i'm blowed

ok so im talking about a different sex so i guess i dont know how it looks for a girl to smoke pot but before i would go out with my boyfriend i had him stop smoking .. IT IS A HUGE TURN OFF.... we have now been together a year and a few months..

Yep. Even guys I know who smoke everyday say it's a turn off when girs do it. I'm sure there are some guys who don't mind, or even like it though.

I'm with Mike O, I partake every now and then. I use to do it daily when I was younger, but there are different types of smokers. I don't like to get to the point that I am "glued to the chair". I use it for medicinal and spiritual purposes. I could make 1 joint last 2 days. I've had friends that chain smoke those things---just how stoned can you get?! In Genesis, the Good Lord gave every green herb bearing seed for food because He saw that it was good. I'd smoke one with you girl---it's my religion.

I think it depends on the man you date. If he is open minded about it then you shouldn't have any problems. Just keep in mind that most people see smoking pot as a character flaw and it could make you appear less attractive in the eyes of others.

WHY do you smoke pot? Are you hooked Are you unhappy with yourself or family? Don't you want ore out of life than that? Please seek help to stop now before it leads to something stronger down the road, because most of the time it will. You were not put here to waste your life on drugs of any kind. Please seek help from somehwere. If you are afraid to acknowledge you need help publicly, then call a center or ministry that helps people to recover from sustance abuse.
