ALSO WHICH TAURUS' HAVE THE TRANSMISSION PROBLEM ??

The Taurus uses a chain and I personally have had little problems with late model Taurus transmissions. Chryslers yes. Late model Ford and GM products do not have abnormally high transmissions problems. Older Fords did prior to 1999 and it was the E4OD and A4OD's

The 3.0 liter is a chain driven motor as well as 4.6 liter most of the bigger motors are chain.
