You can get the tickets at the Port Authority
It's about $45 and it covers the bus fare and entry into the park.

The Greyhound bus from Port Authority in Manhattan at http://www.greyhound.com/ would be the best way to travel by public transportation to Six Flags Great Adventure..Have fun!

Take the NJ Transit Bus 308 from the Port Authority Bus Terminal.
It runs every day the park is open.
