Three hours away, I'd want to go to New England: Conn, New Hampshire, Vermont. etc . . . It's one of my favorite places in the world, You have the shore, or mountains, and history everywhere.
Far away . . .The Grand Canyon. I always wanted to go there, and almost got to 24 years ago, but didn't make it. Now I'm out of money, but I dream.
But my husband and I go on incredible day trips all over NJ, Pa, and NY State. You'd be surprised what wonders you find close to home.
Sorry didn't mean to write so much, we just took one of those rides yesterday, and it was wonderful, just wonderful, they're like mini vacations.
