I know this is a weird question and I feel weird asking this but my son grabs his downstairs area when he doesnt have a diaper or big boy pants on. Is this normal? Is it that he just discovered it? Why does he do this? I just dont know if its normal for him or not. I was just wondering.

It's completely normal I have a 7yr old and a 2 yr old and they both started to play with it from about 9 mths in the bath when it moved around in the water and again when the nappy is off for toilet training so don't get worried it's normal. My 7 yr old still grabs his from time to time. I don't think they ever really grow out of it I think maybe they just like to check that it's still there.

i do not imagine you have to keep in touch. we are all sexual beings, by ability of that I recommend that all of us are born with those organs and we are also born with sensitivity in those parts. I actually have study books on Parenting and little ones and performance study that this particular or similar behaviour has been said in little ones even. they're curious, they locate (it truly is how they study) and they experience. those parts are tender and he likes the feeling. that's regularly occurring. do no longer make a huge deal of it because it may reason unfavourable reactions including a complicated or he may even do it at the same time as looking for interest. enable him locate and with any success he will tire of this discovery quickly. for sure save a discreet eye on him. pick a second at the same time as he's not doing this particular pastime and address it in a really respectful, calm and loving way as no vast deal. basically practice him in that particular behaviour isn't proper in public (clarify why) and attempt sorting out why he does it. He may nicely be too youthful for this yet you say he's progressed, this can help. little ones are fantastically intelligent. that's basically advice in accordance to some issues I actually have study and my parenting beliefs. Please take it as that. thanks. i am hoping all of it seems in the finest possible way.

I have a three year-old and he has done it since he was 2 or so and checks for his "noodle" at bath-time etc. He used to pull on it so hard I was worried he would hurt himself but he never did so......

My funny story is once he had a "baby erection" and when I was putting his diaper on, he said "Mommy, my noodle hurts, make it go away!". I was worried, I had to ask my hubby and doctor about it because I did not want to hurt him, but I did not know what to do about it. It went away quick, so....

It's completly normal at his age.
My son is 2 years old and when I change his diaper he might grab at his pee-pee and he says "pee-pee".
Also in the bathtub he will touch it now and then.
He's just getting to know himself. lol

It's normal. He will grow out of it and then discover it again when he's in his teen years. :)

Yes it's absolutely normal. I don't know any little boys his age, or even younger, who DON'T check to see if it's still there when they have no diaper on.

That is totally normal for children, I have three and they all did that, don't make a big deal about it or he will notice your reaction and do it more, its just a phase.

My 2 y/o does. It's normal. My son points to his and says " PeePee " and " WeeWee ". It's cute but I don't let him do it in front of people. He's just finding out what it is.
