During a seeking prayer I felt the overwhelming peace that can only come from God.
During a special time of prayer He showed me how quick He is to forgive my sins and make me one with Him (John 17:21) when I repent.
Once during prayer I told Him how I missed the all over body hugs as only a small child could get from a parent. The next morning I felt Jesus give me one of those hugs. It was way too brief, but oh so memorable.
His word is true. He loves me!

Q1: How do you know God loves you?
A1: The Bible says so.
Q2: Have you felt it?
A2: Yes, definitely; many, many times.
Q3: Or do you take His word for it only?
A3: Not "only", but his word would or should be enough, but I guess He knows our need and His love is so great, He pours it out on us and we sometimes feel it in a precious and wonderful way.
Q4: When we feel Heavenly Father's love, is that the witness of the Holy Spirit?
A4: I am not really sure. Perhaps it is the "witness of the Holy Spirit" of the great Love that the Father has for us. I don't know. i am just happy that he does love us and that when we give Him our life, we feel His love in such a wonderful way.
Thank you for your sincere questions. I hope that you find sincere and helpful answers to all of your questions.

Every morning the sun rises and nature is glorious- whether I've been good or not.
When I miscarried my second baby at 13 weeks, I doubted God's love and goodness more than at any other time in my life. I told Him I didn't understand how He could love me and let that happen, and I didn't see how I could ever be happy another day of my life. But I told Him I was willing to understand. I was willing to go on.
I did several searches for words like love, providence, and care in a Bible search engine. I was overwhelmed with the results. All my life, I had been taught about God's holiness and His justice, but not so much about His love.
The place I felt it most was in support group meetings for parents who have lost babies to miscarriage, stillbirth and neonatal loss. Even though we had all suffered losses, we supported and loved each other. We were generous and kind with each other.
In time, as I healed and studied, I did begin to feel the love I read about. And yes, I think it is the witness of the Holy Spirit.

I know God loves me in the same way that I know my earthly father loves me. You can feel God's love! It is of course in the Bible, but to know of God and actually KNOW God are two very different things.
God has blessed me with beautiful children, trusted me with their lives....I see his love every time I look at them. God has blessed me with a home to live in and food to eat, he has blessed me with a wonderful Christian husband. These are all reasons that I KNOW God loves me.
To feel the Holy Spirit working in our lives....it's like when someone asks us a question about the Bible, there have been times that I have given answers without really thinking about it. When I would think about it after it came out of my mouth, I would be in complete awe (not sure where it came from).
Have you ever been "on fire" for God?? It's the feeling where you get so excited about your walk that you just can't stop talking about it?! You want the world to know! That's another example. I will finish with my favorite scripture about the Holy Spirit!!!
Galatians 5:22-26
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. 24 Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the sinful nature with its passions and desires. 25 Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit. 26 Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other.

God Bless You All!

Yes, I have felt it at different times, one most particular time was something I'll never forget. And yes that is the Holy Spirit, witnessing to our spirit.

Firstly, He said that He does and God doesn't lie. And I feel it in my heart, head and soul. I would say in times of trouble, it's the Holy Spirit that makes us more aware of His love.

No, god doesn’t love me, otherwise he wouldn’t kill me. However, I do think there are guardian angels (maybe they’re extraterrestrials or maybe they’re beings from other universes who have mastered time-space). Anyway, I think they exist and they help humans out a bit. They’re not perfect and sometimes they stuff up but at least they try. On the other hand, if that popular god exists then he’s totally incompetent and can’t do anything right except cause confusion and misery.

I took his word for it until I finally let myself feel it. It's there. You've just got to stop trying to do everything by yourself and let him help you. Then you will be encompassed by that "Peace "that surpasseth all understanding.
