no cuz i saw on animal planet the aspca took da pits away and put it up for adoption in another city. or maybe dat was florida............

Yes, you can because Ohio turned out not to be as ignorant as other states and voted no on the pit ban. (They ruled it unconstitutional--which it is.) What proper information are you looking for? If you want a pit, go to the shelter 1st. You'd be surprised at the great dogs that are there. (& no, just bc you don't know his bloodline doesn't mean he's going to rip your face off.) Just remember to love your dog and treat him right and he'll do the same.

Call the state or city. In FL they're only legal in certain counties.

go to the city county building and check the ordinances they are public record also check with your homeowner ins it could get can celled

i believe that you can, but im not 100% sure of that...get a hold of your city hall and ask them....owning a pitbull is alot of responsibility...plus keep in mind that you also have to pay insurance on them just incase they attack someone
