It will be obvious to those who knew better and didn't prepare themselves for it. To everyone else, the Antichrist will come on the scene a short time later and offer some reasonable sounding explanation for the "disappearance" and things will settle down for a bit because of the "delusion" God sends upon people that would "cause them to believe the LIE( Antichrist's explanation of Rapture and other things)."

Although there is biblical evidence to prove the Rapture of Gods church, there is no biblical evidence to suggest how human beings will explain such an enormous phenomenon.
I have a personal opinion on this subject, my own view, based on current affairs. I believe when Christ comes to redeem His chosen from the judgment that is coming, when all these people suddenly disappear without explanation, the world secular news media will promote an explanation of "Alien Abduction". This explanation will cause the necessary panic throughout all the countries and peoples of the world so that the anti-christ could make his case for a world dictator to try and restore order. Later on, when Christ returns to rule this earth, the anti-christ will use this same explanation to cause the world to launch an all out assault on our returning Messiah. Think of it...Why would the world attack God Almighty when He returns?
The world will believe this lie of anti-christ and will join together to save humankind from another Alien invasion.
This may be the "Powerful Delusion" spoken of by Paul in
2 Thess 2:11
I think this is the only plausible explanation a sinful world will offer, to explain the disappearance of millions of Christians from this planet.
The world will be eager to believe the lie and will pledge their allegiance to this evil man foretold of in the scriptures.
God Bless You....Peace.

There is no rapture!
Salvation comes through suffering.
Many will be surprised and fall away.
