I recieved an e-mail saying I won $200.000.00 and not to reply to the e-mail but to contact this person at an e-mail address who would see to the distribution of the award. This lottery winning was based on my e-mail address. In other words, it was my e-mail address that was drawn to win.

This is almost certainly a criminal attempt to get you to send them money, or personal information that will allow them to steal bank records or credit information from you. NO LOTTERY, Australian or otherwise, awards prizes from e-mails. If this story sounds too good to be true---it is ! This is one of many criminal scams that every day are launched on the Interenet.

No, it's a scam. You can't win a lottery you didn't enter. They want to steal your ID and get your banking info.
