I like this question. I would have to say that Adam and Eve would not be guilty but that eveil would be in the world and everyone born after their children would be born with a sin nature. I also think that Adam and Eve would eventually sin as well (evil influence from their kids and the world).
The alternative ending would be Adam and Even punishing their children by making them watch Barney or Elmo's World non stop until their heads exploded.

If Eve would not have eaten the Fruit from the Tree of Life, she would have continued to live forever, never having any kids. Thus, there would have been no offspring from Adam and Eve.
I won't even try to go into the original sin part.

Adam and Eve were in a child like state not knowing or doing those kind of things till Eve partook and Adam followed to be with her.
So if your going to be hypothetical you need to change the story.

That would be harsh! But it would also be extremely hard to be the parents, and have to watch your child or children get cast out of their perfect home/world. I don't think God would want you to be leaving the garden to go visit them...Adam and Eve would still be losers either way.

If Eve rejected the fruit, she wouldn't have children. One of God's curses on Eve was to experience child birth because she broke her promise to him that she wouldn't eat the fruit. So basically, no fruit, no children.

It was all in the Great Plan. Eve was foreordained to eat the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of the good and evil of all ages of the great plan of original sin -- what the hell am I talking about?? Hold on, please I've lost my train of thought.

You ARE bad! Then of course the child would see the parents were naked but the parents wouldn't think anything was wrong with that. They'd think the child was sexually repressed, covering up with leaves and such. HA. Where's Freud when you need him?

No way for that to happen.Since eating of the fruit of the 'Tree of Knowledge'they did discover their nakedness, they would have maintained their innocence, and we would not be having this discussion."Link"
