My husband is in the National Guard and is currently on active orders in Iraq. He has a profile for some minor back problems and just does the walk instead of the run. His ets date is coming up and he can choose to re-enlist w/ the Guard and get a bonus but we've talked about him going active duty for more stability. Can he go active with a profile? What does he need to do to go active?

He has mentioned going AGR. Any info on that available? He is an e-4.

He could possibly re enlist with a profile into the guard, If he can pass a pt test (whether it's normal or a modified one to fit profile). Has he considered going AGR? Other then that, I am not sure if he could. Sorry.

Most likely not, depending on the prognosis of his "minor" back injury. Only the military docs can tell him that... no one on here can possibly know for sure.
