Yes they can. Jesus does not need to hear your voice -- He knows your thoughts and He knows what is in your heart. If the person dying has that in their mind and heart , the Lord will know.

I don't think anyone really know that for sure without knowing all of the facts.

Jesus loves the repentant sinner and saves anyone that asks for forgiveness.

Like the workers in the field that were paid for the day Gospel; The ones that worked less received the same pay as the ones that worked through the whole day's heat. The Lord was kind to all and is still that way today.

That Gospel tells us that last minute people can be saved!

I would think if the person couldn't talk but could still reason and think about their life and choose God, they would be saved.

What I would do is pray for that person even if they had a good spiritual life. I would hope someone would pray for me too at my time of death. I think it will be beautiful and maybe tempting at the same time to be angry, fearful or feel not saved. So I think we all need that prayer and hopefully we will all be saved. Blessings on you and yours. hw

They do not need to be saved they are loved by our God already. What is that all about being saved. ???? We are all loved by God providing we are a good person and has led a good life. If we have shown kindness and love to our fellow man that is all the saving we have to do. We will be judged by our behavior in our life. The problem with being saved it seems you can be a real rotter and suddenly be saved and all is forgiven..I think that is an excuse for alot of very sick people. So many criminals who have murdered raped and molested find God and are "saved" well sorry I do not buy it.

I never heard God say..."What...I can't hear you! Speak up!!!" Ever heard of a silent prayer? God knows the heart. He is not bound by physical things like sound. It is a spiritual and supernatural occurance, not a spoken word. If someone said they accepted Jesus, but was being sarcastic and was an athiest in all acutality... are they saved? No. It is a matter of the Heart!

Of course. Mere Verbalizing of words doesn't save you anyhow. Someone can pray without talking. God always knows the heart too. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved! And I believe it too.

Absolutely! You don't have to verbally communicate with God in order to be saved.

There are two verses, however, that says that you must confess with your mouth "the Lord Jesus...

Romans 10:9
That if thou shalt confess with thy MOUTH (my emphasis) the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

Romans 10:10
For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the MOUTH (again, my emphasis) confession is made unto salvation.

But suppose the person does not even have a mouth...Do you think that God would send this poor creature to hell just because he couldn't SAY the right words? I don't think so!
I think that God makes allowances in certain special circumstances such as this.

I hope this helps!

Yes. But I would not want to wait that long. One is missing out too much. Relationship with God is wonderful. And we do not know if we have a change. We never know when our heart beats the last time. : )
