could anyone tell me the approximate amount of caffiene in a can of pepsi max or diet pepsi,some countries call it light pepsi i have at least 8 cans per day,am i addicted and should i start weaning myself off,genuine question.it does not state the amount in the can

About 100 miligrams per litre. Eight cans is 3L, so you're getting about 300 milligrams per day. Whether you're addicted depends more on whether you're able to give it up. If you were to simply stop consuming caffeine, you probably would have withdrawal symptoms after about 48 hours, mainly headaches.

I wouldn't say your addicted, you can quit soda without withdrawal, I quit 4 days ago... I drank that much or more a day as well. I decided to quit it because that is 800+ calories a day. In a 2 liter bottle of Pepsi, it has 25 mg/8fl oz. of caffeine... I 2 liter bottle of Pepsi is 68 fl oz. so I am not a math whiz but that figures out to be about 8 1/2 % caffeine... so its quite a bit.

I know many people who drinks heaps of coke, just as bad as all the coffee I drink. Excess caffeine will make you jittery, so just don't overdo it . Number to ring to enquire about how much caffeine is in Pepsi Max is 1800 244 054, had a bottle of the stuff in the fridge.

i don't know if you are addicted, but you are rotting your teeth, and consuming tons of empty calories. do you feel jittery and nervous if you don't get any soda? then you might be addicted.
