It's outdated and impractical for this day and age. The reason people *could* wait til they were married before having sex was because they married at a much younger age than people do now (like age 16-19), and they didn't 'date' or have boyfriends. There were no proms or Valentine's Day dances, etc. Boys and girls didn't go to schools together, either. Girls usually didn't even go to school. And women typically couldn't just go out and get a job - their job was to maintain the house. Seriously. So, the only way a woman 'met' a dude to even deliberate the idea of having sex, was to get married. Nowadays, nine year olds have boyfriends. Be realistic for gosh sakes...

Doll, im very respectful of a womens innocence and will untlimately respect her when she wants to wait until marriage, men should not take away the virginity of a woman if they wont be getting married because then it makes the wedding night and marriage so much more special if they had waited. Dear, if you want to keep your virginity do it, dont let anybody tell you what you have to do.

Great Respect! In regards to her womanhood and sexuality, she is disease-free, guilt-free and possesses a great deal of self-respect. This is a gift that she has saved for her husband. He will respect and honor her for waiting until marriage. She didn't have to give away this gift in order to "get" or "keep" a guy- including her husband who loved her enough to wait! She understands that she is more than a body, and has gotten to know her husband-to-be spiritually, emotionally and intellectually as friends before marriage.

It's hard to say. If you can find the right one, then they are respectuful. The thing is, most guys don't really think of your respect, they just want you to feel ready. I think that it is mostly outdated, but not for all!

if they arent respectful, they arent a real man. a mans job is lead the woman and to respect her all the while. Personally, i think sex b4 marriage can be very damaging. I say ... if they can't wait, they arent worth it. Today;s guys are really superficial. I wouldnt worry about what guys who dont respect a virgin think. if they dont respect her, they arent really being a man.
