That will be a long time from the present.
If the rapture were to be today, His followers would be in heaven with him for seven years while God rains down His wrath upon the people still on the earth. Then after the seven years, Jesus will come back to earth with His followers and He will establish a government under His rule for one thousand years. Then this earth will be destroyed and there will be a new heaven and a new earth, and in between the destruction of the old earth and the creation of the new earth, there will be the great white throne of judgment where Jesus brings back everyone from the dead and metes out their punishment, according to their works.

No one knows the answer, only God. However, because of how the world has changed, I think it will be during my lifetime. I really don't think God will put up with us a lot longer. The world has gotten worse and worse just during my lifetime thus far. But that is just my opinion.
