Herdez is by far the best and most like homemade - mild, medium and hot.
If you want to make it homemade the quickest way is to use a blender/food processor - for medium salsa use 2 jalapenos, a palm full of cilantro leaves, one third medium onion and two plum tomatoes or medium tomatoes, add half a small can of tomatoe sauce, and a third cup of water (you can add more water after if the chopped ingredients seem too thick) and salt/pepper. If you're talking store-bought, I like Pace picante sauce. They also come in an organic version. If you're talking homemade, whatever's in my garden goes into the blender and voila! Salsa! Lol :-)

The best kind is home made. But for a store bought brand I really like President's Choice with black beans and corn. It is mild enough that my kids will eat it as well.
