The world is RIFE with this sorta thing at the moment..
TRUE christians wouldnt do this.. or TRUE muslims wouldnt do that..
My question is, at what point did you decide you were holy enough to decide who is a true follower of your faith?

To those saying the lord decides..
The lord MUST have a lotta internet logins, cause practically every thread has a christian saying..
TRUE christians do this.. or TRUE christians do that..
I was wondering if you fealt that after a certain amount of church time, you were given this ability.
For example, child molesting catholic priests..
I hear all the time.. they dont act like christians.. they arent true christians.. well why not? Why cant they believe in jesus AND like to molest little boys?

How do you measure the love a man has for a woman? Is it in his actions? Is it a feeling? A woman would have you to believe it is in his kiss.
That is the problem you have no way of knowing how deep a man's love of God. Actually the bible says all men will be judged by his actions. It also say you can only enter in the kingdom of heaven through Jesus. Seeing Jesus died for our sins i guess I don't even have to love my heavenly father.
Why should I love God anyway? He only left a questionable book that we can't fully agree on it authenticity.

I think it's about the relationship...no one really knows anyones heart, besides God of course...It would be judging them if you were to say they where or they weren't and I've witnessed many hypocritical things and I believe true believers are ready to stand for what they believe in my case the Bible and support it without changing or perversing it for their own gain. It all really comes down to the relationship and reading Bible whether it be the Koran or what ever your religion was built on for your own. You know what is right and what is wrong so read and don't walk blindly into something that could determine the way you live the rest of your life. It takes those kind of attributes to be a beleiver but once again no one knows anyones heart. Keep in mind as I say this I came upon these ideas on my own so please do not rush to say that I myself am predjudice or anything because it has happened before and it doesn't feel very good I read some parts of the Koran and and it is pretty scary whats in it, all I saw was Hatred "Do not trust Jews or Christians for they intend to harm you" All the Bible says is to "love one another" and to "love the sinner hate the sin" I am sure there is good in the Koran but to have so many people walking in this religion before evaluating it's foundation maybe by force maybe by a not so careful decision. I am beggining to doubt they really are a peaceful religion. But then again who am I to talk of them when there are so many spiritual leaders who are hypocrites and radicalists in my own faith. If they were to read and live by their Bible so many would understand and see their wrong doings and wouldn't continue to brainwash their congregation. There'd cease to be any false led. good question though it was good for philosophical discussion. ~Evan~

God is the only One who can make that decision.
I think there are some acts that can be classified as ungodly (lying, murder, slander, backstabbing, stealing, etc...) and even some beliefs (like I can sin as much as I want and it's okay) that are not Christian.
I have a degree of obligation to point out to a Christian when I think they've veered from Christian behavior or theology, but I cannot decide their state before God.
God is the only One who knows the heart of a person and who can judge them.

Only God knows the hearts of men. We are not perfect here on earth and so we can't really be the judge and declare who is going to heaven and who isn't. But the Bible warns believers to guard our hearts with the truth of God's Word so that we will not become deceived by false prophets and new ideas and new teachings that are not consistent with His Word. These false prophets don't have to be leaders and in-fact most are walking among us as disguised as fellow Christians. The Bible says we will know them by their fruits, which is what they put out. If they are putting out hate, and stirring up strife, and causing divisions, then obviously they are not a true believer of the faith. God will determine their hearts, but we must protect ours and be aware of those who come dressed in sheep's clothing.

It seems like each person decides, and as I have said before, with a few different types of christians, using their examples of who is not a true christians, you can cancel out everyone... There is no definite answer, but too many people that are quick to badmouth their fellow jesus worshipers..

It has very little to do with "holiness" in Christianity. We are all sinners, saved by the Grace of God. Even the "faith" that we have is a gift of God.
REAL Christians are those grafted onto the Body in the Sacrament of Holy Baptism. Again - that's something God does to us in the waters of the font - and nothing we can earn or do for ourselves.
Anything else would be called Pelagianism.

we dont decide. The WORD decides.
9 times out of 10, our comments, thoughts, and judgements are directed at ourselves, and the answers are just to acknowledge and share it with others.
Neither I or anyone can decide who is a believer. I have seen the strongest of believers, who sometimes looked the farthest thing from a believer. LOL

I don't think you have a question, more like a cloaked attack on Christianity in general and Catholicism specifically. I do know that your barbs do not represent a believer, which means as a Christian, I will pray for your soul.
