It depends on how big you are, how much you had to eat before, and how drunk you are prepared to get.

Have you considered a designated typist?
For me, I can drink all the bottled beer I want, for some reason the time it takes to get it out of the fridge and open it and drink through the small opening is enough to pace me. Draught beer on the other hand is always dangerous. It flows too easily at a kegger, and goes down too quickly. It has caused many beer goggle moments.

If your gonna drive yes...if your going to get a ride with someone sober or stay where you are you can drink as much as you want. A little more info for your question would be better.
