minors can not enter into a contract
an emancipation contract says the minor is able to enter into said contract because they are given that power by the court, so if a minor enters into an emancipation contract then signs a contract for say an apartment it now is a binding legal contract

I though the whole point of emancipation was that you were able to understand real life, tell the truth, and keep your promises.

So keep your promises. I know you don't "wanna", but that's what makes an adult different from a child.
