no, i dont. I feel that music was created to glorify God, secular music does not. all the music you hear about in the Bible was for one purpose, it was to praise God - why would i want to fill myself with things that dont?
we are to be in the world, not of the world - and we shouldn't be allowing worldly music to have an influence in our life. music has an agenda - always promoting something. why would i, a Christian, want to subject myself to something that is going to effect my emotions, actions and thoughts?

Why wouldn't you? Secular music can't be defined as good or bad. There's a ton of different themes and messages in these songs. The same is true for spiritual music. It's not all the same.
With secular music there's r&b, pop, rap, country(probley the closest to religious), indie, etc. Keep an open mind.

Not anymore. I just quit, its not really because I thought it was horrible and I would be possessed or anything, I just thought that I might as well always focus on God, since that is why I'm here. I listen to a wide variety of Christian music. I like more modern stuff though. Its about the words, not the music.

Yes. I like Celtic, Classical, Alternative Rock, some Classic Rock, a little Country, and of course Gospel and Contemporary Christian.
We are not limited, nor under the law. All things are lawful for me, but I must decide if they are beneficial, using God's Holy Spirit and discernment.

Music is a gift from God. Personal choices should be kept wholesome, but there is no reason why a Christian shouldn't be allowed to listen to secular music.

ccm, christian rock, and christian rap are hell's malicious program to get the devil's track into christian church homes. track is broken up into 3 factors: melody, team spirit, and rythem. Melody is the spirit of the track, team spirit is the soul of the track, and rythem is the flesh of the track. whilst the emphasis is on the beat that's carnal, whilst the emphasis is on the melody that's religious. you ought to have all 3 to make track, however the track persons at the instant are calling "christian" is basically secular track with a christian call, being welcomed into the church. The bible says to "love no longer the international, neither the flaws that are in the international. If any guy love the international, the affection of the father isn't in him". Christian track ought to sound diverse from secular musid distinctively. lined is a link to a internet website that a member of my church runs. i've got self assurance you will locate some super hassle-free christian track in this website.

Yes, I listen to lots of different types of music. I stay away from those songs or artists that I personally find offensive. In addition to Christian music, I listen to adult contemporary, pop, rock and mostly country.

I do not anymore listen to christian music by choice. Because when I choose to listen to christian music I choose to because it is encouraging, uplifting and it helps me in my everyday walk with the Lord. I listen to my Christian CD's, or The Christian radio station's.
The only time that I don't listen to christian music is if i'm at the grocery stores, and friend's houses that do not have christian music or want christian music. And God uses me to be a witness to them! God works in mysterious ways!

Yes, I do, although since my daughter was born it's mostly been Ralph's World or Doodlebops, sigh. But I would regularly (weekly) attend rock concerts and my all time fave band was Stabbing Westward and I loved going to all the Kill Hannah concerts before they got totally famous--congrats, Matt & Greg! Greg, I so miss our hugs!
