Trying to figure out if the "no shoes" thing had any religious symbolism in Constantine the movie? I don't know what that was on Lucifer's feet was it blood? Mud? Just wondering why they did that?

I though Lucifers feet had tattoos on them. Why Gabriel had no shoes on is beyond me.

Good movie though, I enjoyed it. The only thing is when I see Keanu, I can only think Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure. Even when he was playing Neo, I saw it.

It's kind of like Samual L. Jackson. No matter what role he is playing, all I can think of is Pulp Fiction.

Lucifer s feet being muddy is a mockery of Jesus. Jesus cleaned the disciples feet when they came in the house.

i don't believe in god, but I'd think that no astral creature would require shoes, and I have read the bible,(as should all who proclaim to believe, but most don't they just follow like blind sheep,) and it does say something about the Leviathan poisoning the waters of the Jordan river with it's muddy feet, but nothing about the devil. perhaps it was to make him seem more "icky".
