I live in Illinois. Last year they screwed me out of my money, and this year I'm scared they'll do it again. I don't want to sit and wait, until it's too late!

Illinois like most states do have a website that allows you to track your refund. You will need socal security number & exact amount of refund

When did you send them in? If it has been just a month, have a little patience, most states take anywhere from 4-6 wks, sometimes a little longer. If you don't hear anything within 8 wks of filing, either go to or call the income tax office in the state. Also, check with the state for unclaimed funds. Your name may be on the list for all that you know. When you do talk to the tax office, be nice & polite. They may be able to answer your question or fix the problem quickly, if there is any.

look online at new york state taxes dept ..i was told u can find out by looking online..i sent mine out and it took 1 mth exactly to come back to me...good luck
