g o d d a m n i t never mind i mean will the duck tape mess up the gift card.i dont think so i just want to be sure cuze its got like 250 dollers on it

The Duct tape wont mess up the gift card at all just the actual card that you taped the gift card to might get a little torn otherwise your good to go... thanks for asking

Maybe. It depends on what part of the card you placed the duct tape over. If you placed it over the front, it should be find (will only leave a sticky residue). If you placed it over the little black bar on the back that the stores need to scan it could leave enough residue that the scanners won't be able to read it.

It might pull up the paper on the card when they pull it off, but it might not be too bad if they are careful. Oh, and just for the record, it's duct tape =)

if you put tape over the magnetic strip it might mess it up.
