Me personally I feel a lot of girls like guys from different countries. I love this guy in my class and he is Arabic and Im from America... He is so hot he doesnt have an accent though. I like him because he is hot. But I think girls just like variety and are probably tired of the same thing. Or maybe thats just what they are attracted to.....

the accent is alluring, just as another accent other than your own is probably enticing to you. is the accent attractive? yes. so american girls like english men? too much of a generalization to say... but is it just the accent? no. that is, if a jerk with an english accent tries to pick me up, id be just as likely to turn him down as i would a jerk with any other accent. or none at all.

yeah, the teeth thing is a problem sometimes.... lol
But mainly I like British guys b/c of their sense of humor. They're sarcastic, they can make fun of themselves and their friends and take others having fun at their expense w/o taking offense. But, at the same time, they have a strangely sweet sense of responsibility and chivalry. This is personal experience from a bunch of English guys that I lived with and hung out with.
Though the accent doesn't hurt :-)

While the English are one of the most civilized of the barbaric tribes, the fact that they are barbarians, like all people not lucky enough to be Americans, is simply unavoidable.
While those girls who lack standards might be attracted to the barbarians, no American girl who has pride in her nation will debase herself by associating with one of the barbarians.

English men are more refined, which is always a refreshing change from American crudeness. Also, some English accents are really sexy.

Obviously, everyone likes rarity. Finding a British guy? (or anybody different I guess) is like finding a diamond in a pile o' rocks. I don't think that us girls just look at your nationality to decide if we like you; we look at the whole person.
