I sat beside the guy I like in class today. We spoke once before and he seemed interested in me, talking to be past his friend who was sitting in between us and acting very friendly. Anyway, we exchanged a few pleasantries and said nothing to one another for the rest of the class. He seemed very fridgetly, as was I and I thought I caught him looking at me through the corner of his eye. I know it's, of course, partially my fault for not talking to him again (too nervous, I'm not usually shy at all around guys even if I like them) but what does this all mean? What should I do at next week's class?

If you have special extra home work to get done you could ask him if he wanted to study together at the library or another safe place to talk quietly. You could also just talk to him, if he is eyeing you and you caught it, it means that he likes you and next time he does it make sure you smile back at him so that he know that you are interested. Don't be so shy.
Good Luck...

If you like the guy, be approachable without being too forward. Maybe he is shy, since you're not give him an opening. If he likes you, he should step up. If he doesn't, let it go.

Hello and a smile are a good start. If you can't get the hello out, at least smile. He'll take it from there if he's interested
