My friend has a thing for me?

I met this new girl in class. She gave me her number first and I gave her mine. She only called me for help with the class so far, but whenever we meet and talk in class, she gets extremely happy (giddy I guess) and she talks about her past long term relationships and what her life goals are and what her personality is like. Do you think my friend has thing for me and is only giving me clues?! Thanks to anyone for their input.

and yea and i also think that you should flirt with her to see how she acts too...
