In my school they are always asking us what we want to be when we get out of Highschool. I change my mind every day about what I want to do. Should I make up my mind fast, or do I have time? I am a great writer, ballerina, singer, and actor.
What Should I Do??????

I on the other hand knew exactly what I wanted to be when I grew up. Let me tell you what......I am not that nor am I anything even remotely connected to what I wanted to be when I got out of school. You do have time. Think about what interrests you and go from there. I took a lot of classes in HS that have absolutely nothing to do with what I do for a living now. In college is where you need to buckle down and truly decide and even then you have a couple of years of simply general ed so relax and enjoy HS do not stress yet.

Take plenty of time.
Even if you have no idea what you want to do right up until you graduate don't let it bother you.
I graduated with barely passing marks, flunked out of every math class I ever tried, hated everything except art and social studies.
Since graduated, I've gotten U.S. patents in two unique but important categories, had two books published by Macmillan, am now qualified as the world's foremost expert in FRP, travel every summer to Europe.
Half the people I went to school with are alcoholics, some are paranoid, others are still snobs while I thoroughly enjoy life.

Honey, my mom is 44 years old and she still does not know what to do.

Six months ago, I decided what I was going to do and I will 24 years old and graduated college 2 years ago...

You do have time, so don't pressure yourself. But also, in the meantime, do start weighing your options. Explore the different careers out there, get started now and just get the gist of what you want to do. Research on colleges and universities and see what they have to offer...it's all up to you. In the meantime, enjoy high school have all the fun you can, cuz after you graduate high school, here comes the bills!

Don't worry about it so much. Many people choose what they want to be because they are forced to. Relax and enjoy your high school years. Try things that interest you and see what you think about them. Keep the doors open and you'll find your niche in life. I know a couple of people that went through college and changed their major in the senior year. They had to go a little longer to complete their degree, but in the end, they're much happier because they're doing something they love.

I might cross with the macbook considering that it comes with iphoto which you'll be able to use to arrange your snap shots, non-compulsory phrase program, and is highly transportable. Since you're into images and desire a method to arrange your snap shots, the mac is a fine alternative. The Mac Book Pro is pricier and higher to convey round with you. I believe it's extra laptop than what you rather want. I listen that HP additionally has a few fine computer systems so I might investigate the ones out as good. Have a laugh looking.

It might be beneficial to figure it out NOW!!

In high school you have the ability to take off campus courses and/or classes at colleges during the day that help you earn your credits and get a good foundation for your career.

I'm going to be a cop and I have to study law and probably take a course that brings me to the police station every other day studying the work and all..

You have plenty of time to figure out what you want to do. Take a career aptitude test, see what you'd be good at and then decide if you'd be happy doing that. Still as a freshman you have 4 years of HS and then at least 4 years of college if you decide to go that route! Good luck! :)

Hardy anyone really knows this when they're a senior in high school.

Take a variety of courses when you go to college......do not just take classes you know you already enjoy because you won't be taking a chance on finding something you may be good at and don't know it yet...

Also, take 12 credits ...and NO more than that because you'll burn yourself out and regret it.

Best of everything!

don't worry so much about what you want to be in life. One day you will be walking on the street thinking about what you wanna be and then you will figure out that you have all the time in the world to figure out what you wanna be...well until you die..but that wont be for a long time now...don't be in such a worry enjoy your life....live the life you have in the present and stop worrying about what kind of life you are gonna live in the future
