If Jesus is anything like the christians about these days I'd be fed up with him coming over and saying 'I love you!' every 5 minutes too. But the smarmy "we're better than everyone else, everone else burns in the hot lake of fire forever! haha" would surely be the worst thing to put up with.

"Overzealous" Christians aren't real Christians. Anyone who tries to "shove it down peoples' throats" instead of witness, evangelize and minister to with love, understanding, mercy and compassion are going to be judged "by the same measure you mete" (whatever method they use to say who's right or wrong) True Christians learn how to use their authority properly, for Revelations 1:6 alludes to the fact that we will "reign as kings and princes" with Him.

i don't know any christians who think they are better than anyone else. the christians i know are loving and giving and self sacrificing. they serve meals at homeless shelters, they go to thirld world countries and deliver medical care, and food and shelter to the poor. actually the christians i know pray for those who are hurting and suffering and are happy for those who are blessed, and, believe that they are sinful, and ask god for forgiveness.
i'd happily spend an eternity with any of them. i'm not good enough to wash their feet!

Christians I know don't believe they are "better than everyone else", they identify with the fact that they are sinful. Christians simply try to learn from their sins and grow... so I guess you wouldn't want fellowship with deep thinkers, and mature people?

If that's your version of Heaven, what's your version of Hell? I know I would rather spent eternity with people that love me rather than people who despise me, hate me, etc.

What's wrong with saying, "I love you"? Did someone hurt your feelings... I'm sorry. Jesus loves you!

I wouldn't be too concerned about that. You probably won't be there anyway.
