how to roll dice in the hood?

The "hood" dice game I've played is trips.

Two players put money in. One rolls 5 dice. You can keep between 1 and 5 dice. The remaining ones are re-rolled, and you repeat until all are kept. The other player then does the same.

You want the lowest score, but 3s count as 0s. Winner takes the money.

I'm sure there are tons of others.
