Yes. It's coffee and tea that are forbidden, and not supposed to eat a lot of meat. Some is ok.

They are certainly not against our religious code - I eat plenty of chocolate and sweets (In fact I have a chocolate carnation instant breakfast just about every morning).
People like Mormon-4, and my mom (who's diabetic) might choose not to for health reasons, but that's not related to our religion.

They are allowed. When I was a member I ate chocolate, I even heard of a Sister canning Oreo's. I never found out if they stayed good.

Of course we are lol.
We just do not believe in taking in and alchol, drugs or tobacco. In further we are taught anything that is taken in without moderation is not good.
We cannot carry the spirit with bad things in our body. It cuts us of from the presence of our heavenly father at the time of doing so.
In addition: I dont know why it is so wierd and unbelieveable that we do not do these things like drink etc. You can reep great blessings from the lord if you keep your temple holy.
NO ONE ON THIS CAN SAY THEY ARE NOT MORE LIKELY TO SIN AND COMPROMISE THERE COVENANTS WITH DRUGS AND ALCHOL IN THERE BODYS. THIS GIVES SATAN FULL POWER OVER YOU.

We are unless they are not good for us. I can't have sugar, at least, not in substantial amounts.
Why do you ask? I understand why people question about chocolate, but not sugar.

Yes, they can have chocolate and sugar. They actually can drink coffee or cokes, but the church advises them against it (but doesn't require it.)

They are but they are not suppose to drink hot liquids or anything with Caffeine in it.
