I only know of one real God, his face looks like his son's face, Jesus.

If He's going to insist on not existing, He'll just have to get along without me.

CD

PS: M. D., If you're under the misguided impression that religion doesn't constantly intrude into the lives of atheists, think again. There are a helluva lot of things I can't do because apparently Xians don't like it. Turnabout is fair play.

Oh, and: atheism is a religion like baldness is a hairstyle. -cd

I will be happy to spend time with God, go to the movies with him, have a nice dinner with him, even sit in a hot tub and smoke a cigar with him, when he shows up and spends time with me. Though I will expect God to actually physically be there, for I can't eat two dinners by myself.

Probably things like asking questions on YAHOO R and S instead of actually doing the will of god.

Such as helping the elderly, and comforting the ill.

Why do athiests have to answer this question. We all know you dont believe in God, so stay out of it. You dont have to "push" your religion on us. How would you like if you asked an athiest question on yahoo and all the Christians answered with antagonizing remarks. Its very rude, and it doesn't speak well for your so called religion.

Which God do you speak of? I spend time with Zeus and Thor. I will spend time with many of the Hindu. I spend time with the Quan Li. Do you have a name for your God, or, is it a minor and nameless God.

I used to let Jesus hang out with me, but then he started getting tight with Pat Robertson, Jerry Fallwell, and the GW Bush. I let him know it was them or me, and he kept an talking to them and telling them what to do and say. I had to bail on him, but if he stays away from them and gets his act straight, all he needs to do is call and apologize and he can come back. But my phone isn't ringing.

I don't need an excuse to not spend time with something that shows no hint of actually existing.
