I click on it and this is what it says:
LImewire is unable to initalize and start this is usually do to a firewall blocking Limewire's access to the internet or loop back connections on the local machine. please allow limewire to access the internet and restart limewire.
I re downloaded limewire but I dont know how to restart it.
Can someone help me please.

Download and use Ares P2P instead. Much better.

Your firewall program is blocking Limewire to connect to the internet.. I don't know which firewall program you are using, but you got to allow Limewire to access the internet.. Just look for your firewall and look for an option Allow, and just add Limewire there..

You may be on a network that has this sort of connection blocked. If you have never been able to get limewire to work in the past, you might want to check around and see if this is the case.

well, sounds like you need to go into your firewall and allow acess to limewire, or just diable you firewall and then see if it works. im not sure what you mean by "restarting" limewire... mabey you mean reinstalling, so uninstal it and then reinstall it "doubt it does anything" but downloading it again wont do anything either, unless the file was corrupt which is not the case...

If you have a router it is probaly blocked in that. You need to find your router IP address and tell it limewire is OK. If you don't i could be spysweeper or some other virus program and you have allow it in there. And to restart the program is just to close it a nd re-open it.

off limewire and go with kceasy its much better and only takes a minuite to download!!

Disable firewall and try again. Next time it would be a good idea to read the ENTIRE error message.

allow your firewall to let it connect to the internet or turn your firewall down, the best bet would be use torrents
