You can get fat no matter what you eat if you are not burning more calories than you eat. If you eat 4,000 calories worth of oranges you will gain weight, although, you may not have some of the other health problems associated with eating high fat diets( clogged arteries, increased cancer risks)

You can get fat from eating too much of anything. You have to burn more calories than you take in to lose weight or stay at the same weight.
