is not a good reason against the idea of god because if we accept that question then we have to accept its opposite, why good things that happen cannot be god´s work???
If we cannot understand why god allows bad things to happen then we will have to accept that he sends the good ones???
I am a non believer.

Which would you rather have - a robotic dog that will obey you perfectly without love, or a real dog that will love you and also disobey you and wreck your furntiure? Which one could you love?
Now think about God's decision to create human beings with the capacity to love him and disobey him. Without the chance for evil, there is no chance for love. Because God is loving he made us even though he knew ahead of time what would happen to this world. He allows evil and suffering as the result of our choice to disobey him and this serves as a backdrop for the love that he shows us in sending his son Jesus to save us from our own mess.
God is all powerful. We acknowledge that when we blame him for evil. But God is good and loving and even in the midst of the evil that we created he loves us and gives us many blessings.
Some people look at a rose and ask why there are thorns. Others look at a thorn stem and contemplate the rose.
Trust that God is giving you a rose among the thorns that we produced. That will change your life.

I am a believer and I belive that God has a plan for everyone. Yes sometimes ad things happen to good people but good things happend to bad people too think about that. You know it's true think about Paris Hilton for instance. And think about all the heros out there who had somthing bad happen to them but they either relized something from it and learned form it. Plus when something bad happens they warn others about it keeping us safe as well. It the way of the world and God's plan.

No. One can accept that good things and bad things happen by blind coincidence. Coin comes up heads, coin comes up tails. If there is no God, then it is a matter of blind chance whether everyone dies or everyone lives happily ever after. Either could happen.
However, if God does exist, then we have to have a reason why an all-loving, all-knowing, all-powerful deity would permit His creatures to endure terrible suffering. And this is a problem.

Believers have always had a big problem reconciling the terrible suffering in the world with the idea of a benevolent loving god. The 'problem of evil' will never go away. If we bring it up, it may help people to think things through and gain a better insight about reality.

I like the way you look at that. You seem so much more intelligent than many people who debate similar issues because you have an open mind. I think that is the sign of true wisdom!!! Maybe you should consider learning a ton about different religions...you might find one that you really enjoy and support. :) I hope you find something that suits you!

We have freedom of choice. If we choose God's way (creative) or the destructive (call it the Devil if you want), what we sow, that will we reap. Just another way to express Karma. The creative force wants us to create. If we choose not to, don't blame God. I think your philosophy is right-on but in an obtuse way. Try thinking outside of a "religious" box. Or better yet, outside of a sectarian box.

you sound like you're assuming those who use the "why do bad things happen to good people" argument to demonstrate the illogical nature of an omnipotent god somehow buy the notion of accepting good things coming from god.
That's a leap in logic equivalent of using bible scripture to argue that the bible is valid... something a Christian would do.

I don't think it is a reason that there isn't a god. I just think that it is a reason that any god there would be couldn't possibly be all loving as many religions like to claim.
