I'm with him for almost half a yr.Sometimes I think we have diff values.Like,I care about my work.Last time I didn't get the promotion I wanted and I got very depressed and a bit snappy but he was not considerate or being understanding.He even asked me what's so bad about not getting the promotion?Also,I went to Starbucks with a male coworker after work,he got pissed off...oh hell no half of the population is men geez!!!Initially he got pissed off when I went for an one-on-one dinner with a guy fd.I explained we have no common fds and we are purely fds.I compromised and promised I wont do that again.And later I couldnt even go grab a drink at starbucks with a guy coworker....things just seem to get worse and worse.I feel very stressed in everyth I do.Even I went for annual dinner for my company he got pissed off coz I didnt text him to say I miss him or sth.He always wants me to swear this and that.Now Im worried that Im gonna break those promises.Sometimes I just think we dont match

And he's super paranoid.He got pissed off and paranoid when I turned my cell to vibration and didnt hear it while I walked my dog...I thought of breaking up and actually said it,he went crazy and almost did sth to harm/hurt me!When he was with his ex, he was totally anti-social(liking didnt even have his own cell no).I can anticipate that he's gonna be like that too which I find it quite disturbing.When I went out with my gal fds he was mad coz he said I didnt try to cut the time short and spend more time talking with him on da phone.I went to my best fd's BD party he got worried coz he was worried that I was gonna meet some new guys at the party...What can I do

He is paranoid and insecure.I have been with the same type of man.It is like living with a dictator,they want to know your every move.Where you have been,who you have been talking to.It will get progressively worse.For your own safety I would get out now.I stayed,and kept thinking my man would change.That he would trust me.No,he ended up violent and nearly killing me.Your guy will end up the same way.Leave him.You will prosper in life without him.Everyone is entitled to friends,and a life.You deserve to be happy,and to be with someone who is worthy of you.

He sounds like he is NOT RIGHT for you. The very fact that you are doubting your compatibility so extensively, and in writing, tells a lot more than you might think. Don't be scared, just tell him Goodbye. Although, you might want to have a friend closeby in case he gets aggressive. After it is done though, I bet you will feel a huge weight lifted from your shoulders.
