How do you use a curling iron to make big curls? (Sort of like Goldilocks curls.) Whenever I do it, I wrap a section of hair around the barrel, roll it all the way up to the top, put the clamp down, then wait about 15 seconds and unroll it, and it never works right! Help!

Tonight, I got so exasperated with my curling iron, that I ended up using these big curlers. They hurt to sleep with, but they give good results. :/

1) Start at the top of your head and clamp down on a section of hair.

2) Like you would straighten your hair, drag it down the section of hair that's in the clamp.

3) When you are at the bottom of your hair (before it falls out of the clamp), start rolling your barrel up the strand of hair.

4) Hold it for awhile.

5) Release the clamp and let out your hair.

6) Repeat on the rest of your hair.

a couple of things here. If you have long caucasion hair, you're trying to put curl in your hair. You need a large barrel on your curling iron. Start at the top of your hair and wrap once or 1 and 1/2 times around. let it set a couple of seconds and move down the strand to the end. Repeat with each strand until complete.

I'm sorry, I don't know how to get big curls with a curling iron. However, if you use those big curlers you can DEFINATELY get your desired look. There are certain products, such as the pink Hair Therapy, that makes your hair bouncy as well. Hope I could help, make sure you tell me how it works out!
