OMG! I'm so sorry that happened to you! I would definitely try to talk to someone and tell them your side, I'm sure you've done that though. I'm surprised that they said no. In most homeschooling programs the student teaches themselves and the parent grades. Umm, I'm really sorry I don't have any other ways to help, and I hope it all clears up for you, I really do!

If the only motive you have for wanting to be home schooled is to hide from this bully, you aren't considering everything that goes into that decision.

Your parents are the one who have to make the commitment to direct your education and if they aren't willing to for whatever reason, you really can't home school.

You can bring up the option of course, you never know. Do some research and present to them the facts. Who would keep you accountable during the day? What curriculum would you use? What course of study are you interested in? Just a few of the things you would have to show them you have thought through. You will also have to need to know the laws for your area. Check out www.hslda.com for that. You also need to show them you will be involved in community in clubs or sports.

Email me if you need help looking up sites for curriculum.

Home schooling is a huge commitment. Good luck to you!

k well first off if u did steal....then u should face the consequences and stop hiding from responsibility.
If u didnt steal it, then there is nothing to worry about because you are innocent until proven guilty. If the boy is just making this up, then it will be easy for u to defend urself. First they need to actually find that u have a DS in ur possession, If you don't have one, ur safe....if u do have one, then u better find the reciept, or if it was a gift, then u need to find the person that gave it to u and have them speak for u.

If you really stole it, then you'll have to seal with the conseqences. If you didn't, I don't see how the police can get you into trouble until they found the DS. Have you thought about privet school?

First off this kid that's telling the cops you stole something would have come and searched you and if he attempted to file a false report he would be the one in jail. Changing schools might be better you may find a better environment through change. But you don't want to be home all day because that's not the way to deal with your problems.

Sit down and talk to your parents about changing schools and maybe this could be an option attending summer school and you might finish sooner if not ahead of your peers since I did that and was due to graduate a year ahead, but state law didnt permit me to do so and I had study hall for half the school year with the exception of two classes that I had to take and I graduated in 1993 with a 3.2 GPA and many of my classmates were saddled with classes they could have narrowed down in summer school. Give that a try.
