Will guys tell a girl she's pretty/ hot if they don't really think she is?

There are a few guys that always tell me how hot i am. then this other guy that tells me i'm pretty and hot all the time. Would they say it if they didn't mean it/ (just so you know, it's not like i ask them what they think of me. and i don't say things like 'omg I'm so ugly!" around them.) Thank you!

Well if you are pretty or hot then they would be telling you the truth. However they could just be saying that to get on your good side and then hope to get more out of you. No so much as sex but maybe other naked games!
