Has anyone ever experienced this or know anything about it? It just started happening today! The bottom of my tongue is peeling and feels really weird and you can see the blood vessels. Plus the top of my tongue is white, kinda spotty with cracks....

You may have an infection, but you did not mention soreness . a coated tongue can also be sinus drainage. Some people get a yeast infection, known as thrush. You can burn your tongue, maybe you did that and just happened to notice the coated tongue. You should brush your tongue as your brush your teeth. See a dentist.

Yes its most likely thrush, brusy your tongue using your toothbrush, to try and get rid of the bacteria.

do you have white patches on your cheeks as well? that could be thrush.
better go to the doctor, that just doesn't sound normal.
