ok well i have this boyfreind and he is half white half black and today he was telling me that wen he gets outta high school tht he wants to start an African American rights organasation in our state im all cool wit that but if thts his dream i am afraid that he wont want to be marride with a white girl . i am verry scared can i have some advise ?

You have to ask him how he feels about you. There's a difference in helping others get the rights they deserve and 'taking sides'.
If he loves you and tells you so, then believe him, unless he is doing things to make you feel otherwise.
Talk to him about your concerns. Always voice your feelings, it's the only way a relationship will last.

being biracial is a difficult thing. he is struggling with his identity and coming to terms with who he is. Starting an organization is something he feels drawn to. you do not have to fear labels. white is an adjective not needed to describe you. if he truly loves you and desires to marry you then the color of you skin will not be what he sees. Remain supportive of his dreams and goals and color will not be an issue. love him as a person not a race and he will do the same.

I wouldn't worry so much. If you really love each other anything is possible, just talk with him about your future..... I mean you still have your whole life to get married, I wouldn't stress out about it. You're still in High school, enjoy being young with no worries it goes away really quick.

don't worry about it! how many times have you changed what you wanted to be or do in life?
just don't waste the time you have with him now, because you'll never get it back. and who knows how long you two will stay together? if he truly loves you, then of course he would put everything and anything aside to marry you.

whiskey tango foxtrot! why would he do such a gay thing. what rights do everybody else have that blackas dont. even so hes in friggin highschool. chances of him following threw with that are slim to none. and if hes just about bein black then he wouldnt be with you right. so i wouldnt worry bout a thing and just move on with ur life
