Sweet. It's a neighborhood electric vehicle. I've seen them around town and they're nice. In California the law says to drive them on roadways of 35mph or less.

I gather you have yet to learn the pleasure of using maps; I advise getting some good ones. Mastering maps means actually knowning where you are. If you want to cultivate a love of good maps, get the fold-out kind that spread out on your kitchen table. The AAA maps are usually quite excellent.

For learning, avoid at all costs the spiral-bound map panel books like the Thomas Guide. Those are terrible maps! They're designed to locate particular small streets in areas you already know well. Leave them to that purpose.

I would say the same about on-computer maps, though Google Maps expanded to fullscreen is marginally acceptable.

You could also pop by the county road commission and see what they've got; they're usually map-o-philes, understandably... and their maps distinguish highways by type.
