i'm found out that i do like my best guy friend he is so sweet but yet he can be mean to me, one of the teachter in my class was going on today about how he likes me and he needs to face it idk really wut to do and on top of that my best friend just got out to prom from this really hot guy and i really want to go to prom but yea not going to work out but yea idk mybe i just dont feel like being alone anymore i want a bf so bad

First, you can explain the prom situation with your friend and ask him to take you.
But the most important thing is to talk to him. Tell him how you feel. I do not know if you have told him how you feel, but most girls think, "Well, I put out the signals, but he didn't respond." Sorry to say, but the only signals guys understand are traffic signals. You have to tell him, bluntly. Tell him you like him and want to date him.
You also said that he is sometimes mean to you, right? Some guys act like that because they are hot for you, but you just ignore what they want. Also, guys are just as stupid when it comes to showing girls that they like them.
The following is not about your situation, it's about guys and girls attitude towards dating.
Maybe if everyone stopped all this stupid drama, and told each other how they felt, maybe you all wouldn't be wondering around trying to figure out who likes who. Then you can all be happy because you're with someone who likes you.
Swallow you egos and try to be happy. Happiness is only found when the drama is GONE.
