On Judgement day they will judge the twelve tribes of Israel.
Please read verses before and after the verse you are reading it helps to understand better.
Another way to understand the Bible is to know where and when something is taking place, and who is speaking, and who they are speaking to.

I didn't know Jesus knew Jacobean English.
The scripture, even in translation, is perfectly fine. It's in deciding who 'follows him' that things get muddied and debatable.
