For instance, she kept bytching at my dad to cancel the internet, since "i only use it for downloading rap and rock music" when in fact i'm doing a project on Panama, but she won't listen and i just feel like breaking her jaw sometimes, my patience is so small with her, i don't know what to do.

Dude... seriously,... I wouldn't even think of it...
I know back then I used to say and think how much i "hated" my Mom... BUT guess what?... she got ill... and I feel so damn horrible for all the bad times I made her go through....
You ONLY have one Mom... she ONLY lives once...
Parents will always try to tell you you're wrong and that they are right.. and as much as they make your life a living hell....
they will be gone one day... and you'll feel sorry for all you've told her or thought of her.. and it'll bug you the rest of your life...
I'm 21 and I thank God it wasn't too late for me to understand how much I love my Mom and how many times I made her feel so bad.... shame on me for that...
I say you try to be positive... i know you might not understand her ...but do your best on not to give her a hard time... she's your mother... trust me... she feels horrible... she cries alone when you're not watching her because of all the things you say of her... or the way you act with her.. or even the way you look at her....you ONLY HAVE A MOTHER ONCE! ENJOY HER WHILE YOU CAN! YOU DONT WANT IT TO BE TOO LATE IN THE NEAR FUTURE!

Look, I totally sympathize - moms do tend to spazz out about stuff, esp the internet. But, you have a choice of continuously fighting with her about it, or making her happy with some compromises (or at least pretending to).
For one, you could go to the library and get your project done, and that might show your mom that you really were doing a project on Panama.
As for using the internet, maybe you could set time limits on yourself - tell your mom that you're doing the project on Panama and you'll be using the internet JUST for 2 hours before dinner... And that after dinner, you won't touch it until you've finished the rest of your homework. (Whether or not you *actually* finish all of your homework before you use the internet again, I leave it up to you.) That might make her happy.
The last suggestion would be for you to get an external hard drive to save your music downloads. Then, when... er... I mean "if" you do download music, it won't take up space on the computer's hard drive. (Also, this way, you can take the music to school or whatever...)

Talk to ur momma about personal space and crap-- tell her that you need the internet for school projects and stuff and that u dont just go on it for music or whateva da case iz! Or at least try to work out a computer schedule with her like if she gonna be all worried about u and the internet that she should probaly let you on the internet like and hour or 2 a day....or whatever u and ur parents agree on...and good luck...! and i'm sure u dont want to punchin the .... out of ur mom cuz well just remember momz dont last 4 eva..they try to prepare u for the real world afta they leave and cant protect u no more!...but yea i get what u saying!

I don't you entire back round with you and your mom, but is there a reason she wouldn't believe you when you tell her you are doing a project? I don't think she is out to get you. Do you? Maybe if you show her the project after or ask for help she would believe you. Relationships take lots of work especially with moms!

Having a teenager myself and knowing how frustrated that I get with her, you need to know that we as Mom's are trying to do the best we know how to do. Remember that we only know and do by how we were taught and kids these days are doing so much more than we did when we were your age....try to give her a break - go in your room and hit a pillow, leave and go outside for a walk, or shoot some baskets or something to get your anger out - and just remember that she is human, she loves you and is more than likely intimidated by her kids that are doing more and know more than she does...it is hard, stressful and know that we are only doing what we think is best because we love you.

well, definatley do not punch the **** out of your mom! i know moms can get annoying, and in your case, bitchy, but always remember that your mother gave you life, you have to respect that dude; my mom isnt exactly a type of person i would hang with if i met her somewhere else, but i still respect her since she is after all my mother. she loves you deep inside man, so keep it cool

do not hit your mother...if you do you will be arrested and possibly go to juvenile detention or some other ugly place. i know it sounds corny but you need to find a positive way to channel your feelings. like get a job and earn money and become less dependent on your parents.
